RE: Idea
TheRocketSurgeon, I guess people wish for there to be a magical creator giving them hope for happy eternity. If you happen to believe in that kind of magic, then every gap can be filled with magic as well. It all runs down for wishing to be eternal. Science and specific religion doesn't matter here.

If you are somehow for real, you've got not only the wrong end of the stick, but the wrong stick. From the wrong tree.

And then beating around the bush with it.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I don't know, but at least he's found a way to feel superior to both. Which is nice.

Tin coffee pots
And iron coffee pots
They're no use to me
So
If I can't have a proper cup of coffee from a proper copper coffee pot
I'll have a cup of tea.

If magic existed then it could be measured scientifically if a deity existed then it's presence would be able to be detected scientifically. Neither have been, so on current evidence I can confidently state there is neither magic nor gods.

Quote:Theistic idea attempts to go in to the opposite direction of giving up your pride and pleasures for idealistic goals like heaven in afterlife. Gods idea acts like motivator or a glue for good deeds, which is GOOD, in my opinion.

And you thought the best way to do that is to insult everyone.

Quote:"What im suggesting is that religion is disliked for preaching idealism/unbearable bitter stuff, BUT healthiest lifestyle."

Ahhh, no.

Religion is disliked because it is divisive, and the single cause for more deaths in human history than all other "clubs" put together.
There is a some benefit to be gained from religion, but the net sum benefit to humanity is way in the negative.

In other words, hundreds of millions of people have died for a sky fairy who doesn't exist...
No God, No fear.
