The body of a 38 year old black man from Atlanta was found hanging from a tree in Beachwood, Ohio. The athorities have apparently ruled out foul play and are calling it suicide.
Convincing?
"Suicide." I have a lot of questions here. Why in public? Why in such a manner that resembles lynching? Why did he go all the way to Ohio to do it?
It's very hushed up as well. I had only fell across the story by accident on social media and there's hardly anyone talking about it in the press.

Nowhere near enough information to go on. All the article says is the body was found and identified, and foul play isn't suspected. Need data.

No proof sure, and "innocent until proven guilty" and all that jazz. I'm just saying, in America it's not unthinkable. Cops shoot un-armed black kids all the time, and just last year we had that Children of The Corn looking white kid shoot up that black church. This guy hanging like it's the 30s could probably be overlooked if it wasn't for all the shit that's been happening lately, but the idea of someone hanging a black dude and framing it as "suicide" unfortunately isn't unthinkable, or even surprising at this point. It gets to a point where you can't just keep dismissing it like "eh, coincidence".

I want forensics. If suicide he needed to climb the tree and drop. There would be evidence on his hands, shoes, clothes, .............. If murder I'd expect there would be some evidence of defensive wounds, other dna, other foot impressions, ..........................

I agree that nowadays cops shouldn't really be given the benefit of the doubt by default. Especially if it was just a quick little investigation befor it's deemed a suicide and dropped.
