Ironically if Trump became president then it might be good news for the UK. The 'special relationship' would become even more toxic with the electorate then when Blair acted like a fawning love sick puppy with Bush. The UK might then finally give up all its pretensions and concentrate on living within its means rather than selling itself out to America and its corporations at every opportunity.

Things could become more Third Worldly, especially if the Repubs start screwing with the safety net programs.  Imagine riots from coast to coast and from border to border.

He said as much when he bragged about being the master of debt and his intent to use this kind of experience in his presidency. That statement in itself will kill the dollar, if he is elected, since noone will trust an investment based on the currency or backed by the country.

That will shatter the world economy once more, with unknown consequences.

The world economy is going to tank very soon because the derivative market pyramid scheme is going to collapse.  That won't be Trump's, or Hillary's, fault.

Trump will have both parties actively opposing, and the entire bureaucracy will also drag it's heels on all the wacko stuff. Trump is actually a third party candidate that had the smarts to take over an existing party. Hell, Bernie tried the same thing and got amazingly close himself.

Neither Trump nor Sanders however have hand picked candidates lined up to run and try to get into congress. They missed that, and it will be rapidly apparent should either win what a colossal oversight that was.

We need to figure out how to get Bernie elected? If he gets 66% of the votes left and has the super delegates come to him he could get the primary.

I simply don't understand why people think the president has any control over the economy. His only influence is to work with Congress. Neither party would welcome him with open arms. If Trump wins, perhaps it would drive some real compromise and responsible legislation; common enemy and all.
