Friendly sharks BTW. The problem is the theistic turds left afloat in this little pond. As it stands, there are only 2 theists here that deserve my respect. It is a rare breed. Oh there was Rayaan, the best muslim ever, but he stopped posting Sad

You seem to be implying that algebra doesn't like gay people. You are anthropomorphising concepts. Stop it.

That's just my two cents.

The other thing is, your concept of god is essentially useless. We already have words to describe these concepts, and those words don't carry any of the theistic baggage that I suspect you're attempting to equivocate into the conversation. Math isn't a god, it's math, and saying that god is math is either pointless- in that you're simply glomming a label onto something that doesn't require it, and are thus playing word games- or unsupported- in that you may be claiming that math is reflective of some actual theistic god, in which case you'd have to both demonstrate that and the other aspects of that god, instead of just pointing at something that already exists and saying "that's god." Either way, there's not much to take seriously here.

You can "prove" god exists easily, so long as you redefine god to mean something that already exists. If I call my coffee cup god (which, given its importance to my mornings, might actually be getting some worship out of me) then yay, I've proven god exists, but I certainly haven't lent any more credibility to any theistic concept of god. I've just played a word game to make god significantly lesser than any religious concept of him. I guess it all comes down to whether you actually want to demonstrate your religious beliefs, or just make an atheist say the words "your god exists" so you can feel reasonable and grandstand to the other theists.

You are not the only religion to pull these tactics. Every major religion, when they cant flat out debunk science, will resort to trying to co opt science. The problem for Christians and Muslims and Jews and Buddhists and Hindus, and all others, is that scientific method is not a religion itself, it is a tool, a neutral process. It does not prop up the bible, or Quran or Jewish OT or the Hindu Baghavad Gitas or Vedas, or Buddha. Scientific method is completely religion independent.

I am not here to convince anyone of anything. I want my beliefs to be criticized. Tell me what is illogical about thinking this way. I have yet to find anything convincing so far.

Oh bullshit. This is the intellectual dishonesty religion teaches you.  Then why the fuck are you even posting anything? As soon as you post a claim, you are making a sales pitch.

Great you don't mind your claims getting picked on? Good, then let me cut to the chase, and save you some time.

Humans make up all god claims and all religions. There is nothing special about any religion or god claims. They are ALL products of human's imaginations.

There were no religions 200,000 years ago, much less 4 billion years ago, much less 13.8 billion years ago. Our sun is  only 1 of billions in our galaxy, a galaxy so big it takes one ray of light 100,000 years at the speed of light to cross. And our galaxy is only 1 of about 200 BILLION galaxies in our observable universe.

So when any Christian or Muslim or Hindu or Buddhist or Rasta or Jew says "I am special because of my religion" or "my deity did it" what do you want me to say? There is simply is no polite way to say religion is an artificial gap filling placebo humans make up to avoid facing our finite existence.

Clear enough for you? Bunt yes, offends many? Sure. But facing that reality is how humans can find REAL answers. If our species never questioned social norms, our species never would have left the caves.

You got it all wrong. God is the potentiality IN the sunchronicity of existence itself.

Your ideas such as they are have no basis in either logic or reality.

And I should find this interesting ... why, again?

Get back to me when you can describe reality with a little more accuracy, thanks.
