"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Including my Chirango and bass, I currently have 9.  I have recently sold 5, so the collection isn't as big as it used to be.  We live in a 2 bed flat at the minute, so with the little one, there isn't much space.

My wife was not impressed when I bought that last one, but I can't help myself, I love buying guitars, they're my shoes.

The best SG I've ever owned was this 89 MiK. Incredibly stable neck, set it up once and it stays right for a year, and held tune through an entire 50-minute set.

I really miss that guitar.

Yep. The Seagull Maritime Folk guitar has a nut that it notably wide for a guitar (1.8" -- doesn't sound like much but believe me it is). Seagull makes great guitars at good price-point -- I walked my ex-girlfriend through guitar-shopping last year and she ended up with a Seagull Mini Jumbo.

They're built in Canada, have solid-wood tops, and are worth every penny.
