I hope you will be able to use words in a medicinal way like a doctor working in a hospital, revealing your skills and releasing people from their misleading state of being.
Nah, I use them like a retrophrenologist would use his selection of mallets.
Constable Dorfl,
I'm still investigating your level of thinking. What may you think a retrophrenologist is ?

Maybe or maybe not it's right to thank you for that. I was wondering what your thoughts were about it. Do you think of Pratchett as fairytales, books full of figurative/talking in similarity/comparisons - to learn truths, gain wisdom and knowledge to put into use in life or do you think it's all just fantasy ?
Do you think the use of Pratchett may be compared to what Christians do with The Bible ?
I don't mean this arrogantly.
Pratchett's disworld seires was the use of a fantastical world as a mirror to show up the follies and foibles of human existence.
And, no his books are nothing like the bible. The Discworld series is an obvious fiction and is meant to be taken as such, whereas the bible tries to pass off a fantasy as reality. And furthermore the morality described in Pratchett's books is much better than that in the bible. For example, genocidal psychopaths don't get to be the good guys in Pratchett novels.
Oh and what's with the inane questions? If it's an attempt at conversion it is spectacularly bad.
Constable Dorfl,
Do you remember seeing a post about The Clementine Homilies, Chapter XX - Some Parts of the Old Testament Written to Try Us ?
Maybe false things about God inserted maliciously into The Bible to mislead.
Do you think The Bible and Discworld series are both fiction ?
I think a comparison may be done of The Bible and Discworld series.

Re the clemintine homilies either give me a synopsis or point me to a good one. Then I'll consider them.
Re false things being inserted into the bible, my question still stands. Why would a perfect being allow that to stand.
I don't think the bible is fiction, it is fiction. The two creation myths, fiction; the Egyptian captivity, fiction; the conquest of Canaan, fiction; the flood, fiction; the jewish kingdom, fiction; the life of Yeshua, fiction; the lives of the disciples, fiction.

Constable Dorfl,
I propose somehow sending you small parts at a time of the Clementine Homilies for your consideration.
What do you think about the relatively popular absolute truth discussion and how may you think that compares to saying The Bible is fiction ?

If you have an argument post it here in the forum. I'm not going to say anything in response to either empty sloganeering (as above) or stuff sent to me by PM (as you seem to indicate with the clementine homilies).

Constable Dorfl,
I may post something in future from the Clementine Homilies.
It's a part of Christianity to use words figuratively/talking in similarities.
Absolute truth - thoughtful discussion.
