I hope to Hell this sequel focuses on Jesus stopping the zombie apocalypse he accidentally caused at the end of the Crucifixion, like in Matthew 27:51-3.

Yes. Maybe have Judas play a major part, either as some sort of criminal in Hell Jesus has to ask for help or as a major player in starting up the whole fracas. Either way would be excellent as long as he calls him out on getting shafted both in life and in two millennia worth of Christian thought.
