Woah, this thread took a lot of catching up on! In the spirit of a certain sig request..:

CIJSAIJBH, it's been nearly 20 years, half my life-time of investment on both sides. For a long time, you regularly offered me new experiences, new challenges, new ways of working. Then, when times were tough, you gave me support and stability; to this day I still feel that I may not have properly repaid you. But for too long now, you've been devaluing me, not showing me the trust I've earned, not giving me the opportunity to be myself and in return, I've let you, becoming withdrawn, not giving you what I'm capable of. We've grown apart, become disfunctional, beyond repair (in spite of our best efforts) and though you don't know it yet, I'm already looking elsewhere. I know I'm doing the right thing because I'm energised by the anticipation. I see a new path and I like the first few steps I've taken on it. Here's to the future!
