If you can be disruptive without repercussions, then go for it.
If not, then remember the ritual is meaningless.

I was confirmed in the United Methodist Church before I had told my parents that I didn't believe in God, and it literally had no impact on my life, other than the church pamphlets they kept mailing me for several years. I did it to please the parents, and it was no big deal. Just go through the motions for your parents, and then officially leave the church at your earliest convenience.
