As has already been explained to you, what you claimed had been done cannot be done...it's not an issue of belief but of mechanics, and it doesn't matter anyway -because it's illegal regardless. Even the -attempt- is illegal...and frankly, I'd worry more for the safety of the shooter than I would of anyone he intended to shoot.
But hey, maybe that's because I'm a sane person who insists on sane legislation to combat our less-than-sane gun problem for exactly what it is...rather than a partisan hack who can't fathom a world in which their misconceptions aren't acceptably pointed to as a reason to pass a law.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

With the shooter in question (if the story were true), this thread should be changed to "Survival of the Fittest."

Don't understand why my computer has been double posting, I think it might be my new cheap external mouse.

Our guns laws -have- changed. Immensely. In that we actually have them now...whereas we really didn't back then. They still need to change, but it's unlikely that the changes proposed by that group will be productive changes. Just a way to feel better about ourselves for having continued to fail.
Let's see.
Quote:Sign the petition below for background checks on all gun sales, a ban on assault weapons, and a limit on the capacity of ammunition magazines and we’ll advocate in Congress on your behalf.
1. Background checks, check..already the law...but there are loopholes so we should close those. Much respect.
2. "Assault weapons" again, huh? Uh-huh. I see no reason to petition for 1 or 3 when this one is perfectly capable of banning all guns in the first place.
3. Magazine capacity...because tape doesn't exist, and it's not like you can just swap out an empty mag, you know, what they were designed for to begin with.
Or maybe, we can do something about the 6/10 people who want to die, and give the other 4/10 people legal recourse for disputes over control of their victimless markets. I know, I know "but rhythm...how will that get rid of guns!?!"
-It won't....but it will get rid of our gun problem.

Guns aren't our problem. Ardent (i.e. irrational) gunners are our problem

They aren't shooting people...so, no..they're not. They're annoying, but they're not our gun problem.

An ardent supporter of gun rights, one that follows the law very strictly, always being responsible with their firearms, is not the problem. That is simply a law-abiding citizen who speaks what they believe. The problem is useless legislation and illogical banter about the danger inanimate objects pose.

Nope sorry, again, these "changes" you say have been "Immensely" changed worked so well we would not see the amount of gun violence we do. Not good enough.
