UK to leave EU
RE: UK to leave EU
I know fuck all about how the EU works in practice. So, how will UK separation work differently than EU membership outside of the obvious (mostly, PITA travel between countries unless some sort of EU-like access will be agreed to)?

I keep seeing pro-Brexiters talking about increased independence and/or sovereignty, but nothing concrete about what that means or how things will actually be different.

Trouble is, I don't think there will be another ref, at least not in the short term.

The democratic process has been served, as fucking stupid as the ref actually was, and whilst not legally binding, it would set a dangerous precedent to redact it (as much as I'd like to see it reversed). No Government would survive reneging on the result.

We just need to come together now and sort something out in the very limited time we have.

I ain't no economist but I am an accountant. And as I've said in my previous posts in this and other threads, the figures I saw when I came into work made me exhale loudly. Pretty serious shit. We've had to reevaluate our supply chain throughout Europe in light of the increased import costs of raw materials which affect your short term trading and manufacturing.

Long story short, it's fucked everything up. If we leave the common market, then I honestly think there will be serious repercussions (HSBC has already threatened to relocate).

My rep also lowered 1 point since yesterday. Consequences of telling brexiters what they are. You know how gentle I am. Angel

What revote? You act like the act set in motion can be stopped or be reversible. Oh, my poor child...

Why are people surprised that Nigel Farage is suddenly retracting his support for the NHS post-Brexit?

This c-word is a far-right nationalist, you fuckwits. When have the far-right ever given a shit about working class people?

This is what happens when you let yourself get duped.

Unless they ran an election campaign with ditching the referendum as a primary issue.

I am sorry to the good people trying to do a second referendum. Is Europe going to be blackmailed?
