Zombies!

Deserves its own thread, as people keep using it as a red herring to divert attention from other topics.
Matt 27
51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
So...what's the big deal? Is it just that Walking Dead fans can only picture it in those terms?
If god can raise people from the dead, he can give them a proper appearance and clothes if he likes.
Don't claim that you doubt it because it isn't mentioned in the other gospels, as neither would you believe it if it were mentioned in all of them.
So...what's the problem?

I.. don't understand the question.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

In a recent thread, two atheists tried to divert attention away from the issue at hand to the Matthew passage above, which they apparently feel is problematic for Christianity. The question is...what's the problem?

Worms ?

Oh, I see. I have no problem with Zombies. It's one of the more credible things in the bible, and it made for some funny lyrics for Bach's Passion.

Was Lazarus a zombie of sorts, or was he restored to being an actual human being type person with no hinky limitations or bewildering enhancements ??
And where was Lazarus retrieved from; heaven or hell ??

Uhm... The problem is that it's utter bullsh*t, concocted by con-artists in order to impress primitive minds. You only feel the need to defend this preposterous story, because it's in the same book of fairy-tales, that promised you everlasting life.
Yes, we get it - if there was a magical wizard in the sky, he could do any infantile sh*t you can imagine. But there isn't, so grow up.
