Help Convince Me Not To

RE: Help Convince Me Not To
Think of the money! Save it until you can buy something even better when you really really need something. Or just save it for emergencies. Money is awesome. I wish I had some saved. It would be bliss.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Save your fun fund so it gets bigger and you can buy something even better. You get what you pay for, buy something super expensive later on instead.

I think this qualifies as super expensive, at least for a toy. With tax and the keyboard it's $812...

It depends on your lifestyle as to wether you should buy this or not.

When I couldn't drive my tablet was good because I'd take it on busses for long journeys.
Plus I only had a blackberry then.

Now I have a tablet and an iPhone and I'm thinking of selling my Samsung galaxy tablet cheap.
I can just do everything on my phone. My phone is more hide able in work too so I can sneakily watch videos or read books without a huge tablet in front of me.
I'd sell you my tablet but I lost the charger and I think you're American anyway and I'm from the uk so I don't know how much use it would be to you.

In general id say don't buy a tablet, but those tablet/laptop combos do look pretty cool to me, they might've good I've never used one.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Nope. I'm misremembering. The Mac is £500 or $647 (wow the exchange rate is shit now), but it comes with a 2 year warranty.
