Holy fucking shit, if the bible were a requirement then why did they write the First Amendment the way they did and why did they put "no religious test" in the oath of office?

If it was done academically, it would be a good thing. The average Christian has no idea about the barbarism, absurdities and contradictions in the Bible. It could help accelerate the rate at which young people are abandoning religion.
