Btw, just this morning I read some story about a pastor warning against online demons from pokemon Go. Was good for a chuckle. Didn't bookmark it or something. So it's obviously a christian ban also, isn't it?
Do you have to be such an uptight douche all the time? It's a funny story about pokemon. Stop putting the word 'all' everywhere. If I meant all, I would say all. Like I just did when I said you are an uptight douche all the time. See, that's how the word all works. The guys who put the ban in place were Muslims, speaking to other Muslims. So stop complaining about factually correct things. I was actually trying to get a more specific title but they were just too long. Then I literally thought, Abaris will probably complain about it, so I went with Muslim ban.

I take it if you had the power to ban such things you would then?

Nobody has the power to ban Pokemon Go. They can just tell people not to use it. Doesn't mean anybody has to listen.

You can always count on abaris to be offended.

You might be righter than you think, in the long run. If the day comes when our phones outsmart us on every level, it's quite possible that we'll stop worshipping them and all the information they provide us with.
And by phones, I mean AI, of course, which we'll be accessing through the equivalent of future phones, which presumably would be our brains themselves.
Um, this post got messier than I anticipated. Feel free to poke some fun at me, anyone.

Ooooof course he did... Is anyone else wondering whether they're having this really long nightmare right now and they're going to wake up any moment now to discover a sane world devoid of the crazies?

Especially ironic, since he said he was literally laughing about a similar article about Christians. When we laugh about the Muslim ban or I don't title it specific enough for him, then he gets all offended. He's not even being offended for himself, but like most huffy white people he is being offended by proxy.

It was more of a hypothetical than anything else.

That's Islam fucked then.
The Kirk Manoeuvre played for keeps.
No Stimbo, here's your quote in the correct form:
Quote:So (Al Azhar/Sunni/Shiite/Wahhabi/Salafi/...etc) law forbids anything that "negatively influences the mind and harms the [individual] or others without being aware of that"?
...
No Atlas, I was quoting directly from the OP. You have a problem with the construction, you take it up with Abbas Shouman quoted in the article. Don't you dare make me into your strawman.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

For the first time I agree with islam - not about the game being a sin but because it is stupid game and makes people even dumber.
