Welcome back!

It sounds like you've been on a hell of an adventure.

Welcome and welcome back.

Sorry about your past like road. Sounds like you picked a new goodin.

Tell us more about the state school.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Don't use super as a modal verb.

It's terribly American of you.

Tongue

I actually know that, but I speak the language of my environment.

I'm actually Moldavian, spoke English as an everyday language for a month or so, and that's to Austrians.

Appearances can deceive.

I jest. No offence meant. I am someone who uses sarcasm and humour in most respects and this can be misinterpreted by the anonymity of text speak, sadly. I am a humble man, and one who likes nothing more than learning from his fellow humans.

It is an incredible place. Deeply challenging children from a very poor socio-economic background with little aspiration and second of third generation of unemployment. Their parents are largely uneducated and do not hold any ambitions for their children, but through outreach and local community work, we encourage an ethos of aspiration and ambition to become more than we've been allotted. The north east of England is a place that has been largely betrayed by big politics...sadly.

We - without apology - see ourselves as the bastions of a hopeful future.

And we won't back down.

No offence even thought of, let alone taken. I was simply taking the opportunity to talk more about myself. I do that a lot. It's one of my quirks. People on here have been telling me it's some form of deranged narcissism or another... but I just call it embracing solipsism.

Narcissism is the celebration of oneself. We have one life, my friend. Be proud of it, and of yourself. I am sure many other people are proud of you.

Boy, this is one happy camper. Good for you, sir. I admire your apparent lack of cynicism.

Oh, I am a cynic. A terrible one at that.

I have been through so much in life that I trust no-one but the closest of kin.

But I won't let life defeat me either. We get this narrow coil; this limited expanse. It's for living.
