That slur was started against Goldwater by LBJ, who subsequently dragged us into Vietnam. So fuck LBJ for starting it. Subsequently it's been used against Nixon, Reagan, Bush II, McCain and now Trump. It's always been a bunch of shit and nobody who says it should be taken seriously. It's especially awful considering that people are soooo offended by Trump, and yet say possibly the worst, most offensive thing that can be said about someone, that he will end the planet. This is despite the fact Trump is
to the left of Hillary when it comes to foreign policy issues.
I hate to be in the position of defending Trump. I find him awful and embarrasing, both personality wise and in terms of his politics. I think domestically and for the economy, Hillary is far superior. But fuck anyone who uses the nuclear war slur. I can't take anyone serious who opens with that accusation. Its a vile, awful, offensive thing to say. Far more offensive then anything Trump has said.
Also considering that people so often accuse Trump of playing to people's fears, what the fuck??? This is the ultimate in fear mongering. You don't get to whine about Trump being a fear monger and then say something like this.
