By theist logic, once 51% of the world's population is atheist, God doesn't exist. Looks like we're getting there slowly.

The idea of belonging to a larger world-wide faith/group/whatever of "Atheists" just isn't appealing. I just don't believe in any deities and that's where it begins and ends for me.

There are no atheists in terrorist training camps.
"No religious affiliation" is not the same as "atheist".
I have found that some religious people assume atheism must work like religion. We must have a similar hierarchy with dogma and leaders telling us what to do and how to think. That's a misconception I'd like to see shattered in the near future.

Yes, and they assume that their religious ontology must perforce carry over to those of us who don't believe, that we come to the same conclusion for the same reason.
