Why A God Has to be Insane

Why A God Has to be Insane
Maybe this thread belongs in the psychology forum, I dunno.

For the sake of argument, let’s say there really is an omnipotent, omniscient omni omni god out there and he is alone. He has no society, no culture, no art or science. Nothing exists that he did not create. There is no reality outside what he decrees it to be so nothing that he does has any real consequences.

He has had to endure this for a literal eternity. Unable to bear it any longer, he creates a point in the pointless expanse of eternity and at that point, he creates the world and humankind. This becomes his purpose. He needs the humans to fulfill his purpose, but at the same time, he needs their actions to be real—real choices, real love, real consequences. He has nothing else to do but watch them and vicariously participate in their reality. Is there any wonder that he is a jealous god?

Insanity is embedded in the very concept of god.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

We naively thought masturbation would make him leave the room but the wide eyed omni-impotent one is still hanging around.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

Yes, expecting him to turn away from a tuition-free adult education class was naïve.

He won't be interfering in the affairs humans any more.

(He's finally discovered internet pr0n!)
That'll keep his hands full for quite a while!
Makes you wonder why he waited for his creations to invent the internet for him though....

When you start creating theories involving god, you give the same life to him that theists do. It is better to understand that there is no god and leave the imaginings to the theists who are best at it.

Finds net porn. Pleasure centers fire for the first time in earnest. Brings into being a giant inflatable rubber vagina. Comes to earth and steals massive amounts of lube (ky stock plummets). Develops an addiction/obsession. Forgets human race. Theists awake from the long nightmare.

But god is just made up by people. Lots of different people with different motives. No wonder he comes across as insane.

A monotheistic god would never have peer-to-peer contact.
