I listen to a lot of Progressive stuff and the average song length is somewhere between 7 and 10 minutes. This is probably my favorite loooong song, though. Coming in at a whopping 23:09... I give you Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons.

Telegraph Road is not only one of the few Dire Straits songs that I don't hate, but actually love.

Not particularly long, but certainly longer than the average pop song: ELO's "10538 Overture" -- one of their earliest songs. Its a shame they didn't go further in this direction instead of the more pop stuff. The cellos groan and roar (punk cello?):
