One in which you claim that you could choose to fully leave the planet. Since you didn't make that choice, you don't in fact know whether you could have or not. Your claim is nothing but speculation based on feelings. It's worth nothing.

@Ark
There we go, at least we both know what you're talking about now, huh...seems important.

On that count, I don't believe your story.  Pretty much as far as we can go, unless you brought your astral itinerary back as evidence.....any chance of that? Fun fact, I have the astral ability to determine fact from fiction instantly and inerrantly. Your' claim is fiction. Care to disagree?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Nothing for you.
No fear of death for me.

And to hell with me for trying to console anyone with that experience right? No heaven, no hell, no God, just peace. What a f#cking asshole.

To those that prefer annihilation, I'm sure that must be horrifying.

Good day.

That turned into a train-wreck awfully fast.

So, you're just describing something that has emotional value to you regardless of it's factual accuracy or internal consistency as a claim?  Whether or not you actually -have- superpowers..whether or not this actually happened...that takes a backseat to how it makes you feel better?  That's how you choose to respond to criticism of the claim?

If I told people that I could fly..and they expressed doubt regarding the claims truth or value.....I don't think I'd respond with "it gives me the fuzzies".  Rolleyes

No ones doubting -that-...you see...which is why comments to that effect are not a response to those criticisms -even if you quote the other person in offering them.

Try to paint me as unreasonably emotional when you're the one pissing all over my loss and I will reverse that decision. In fact, I will voluntarily resign from the Staff purely so that I will be able to put you on my ignore list. What you see as offering consolation, I see as a deeply personal insult. I don't give a shit for your NDE, as long as you keep it in your pants and don't try to hijack the major defining moment of my life for your own masturbatory agenda.

In fact, please never talk to me again in any capacity. Ever.
This will be the last time I respond to you.

#1 Was not informed you accepted my apology or even why you were so upset as you never responded.
#2 Was not informed this thread was about your specific loss.
#3 I was asked how would I console a mother who lost her child, that she is an atheist (or that it is you) was not a part of the question.

1 Don't care. I'm undergoing a depressive episode. Do I need your permission?
2 It's not, which is why I take it exptremely personally when you drag it into conversation without even thinking.
3 Don't give a wet shit. I gave a human response along the lines that this fictive grieving mother would give.

Rejected. You have shown that you have no idea how humans work.

My anger is directed at you, you fucking insensitive parasite.Take your false hope and choke on it.

Oooooooh, it's NOT about you....yet you said "my loss". You were just responding as a fictitious mother (atheist) who is also staff of this site, threatening to resign just to ignore me. Nice performance art!

So now I know you're just taking the piss and foaming at the mouth because that's what you do on the internets.

You guys got me good that time! Really had me going being all apologetic and everything Hilarious good show, Stimbo, good show. And fuck you right back. Cheers!

Yep, you got me. I'm just taking the piss about my personal loss and this deep well of depression that only yoghurt can save me from. Take your strawman, shove it as far up your arse as you can get it, and drop dead.
