Forum Changes and Additions

Hello all,

The staff have been discussing making some additions to the forum to better meet the wants and needs of the membership. As such, please find below a list of updates which we will be implementing in the coming days. There will be limited disruptions and only a short amount of down time for the forums and sub-forums in question as we will just be adding some things and rejigging.

1. A69 will be moved to its own forum outside of The Pit forum, be rebranded and will have an additional sub-forum contained within it called 'The Adult Lounge'. The rules and restrictions within this new forum will be identical to the current A69 sub-forum but will add an extra sub-forum for adult appropriate discussions that may or may not be explicit.

2. The Mafia and R'yleh sub-forums will remain within the pit, with the same rules as currently exists. Mafia moderators will retain their powers within that sub-forum, and the moderation team there will be reviewed in light of participation levels to better ensure regular players are represented better. R'yleh will remain unchanged.

3. A future proposal of a 'Support' section is also being discussed and will be implemented in due course. The idea behind this is to offer a place where members can discuss any issues in any part of their lives with greater sageguards to ensure dialogue is kept civil and supportive. Further updates on this to follow.

If members have any questions or queries please feel free to send the staff a PM or indeed respond in thread and we will pick them up. Also helpful would be if anyone notices any bugs or issues once the changes are completed to PM the staff so we can resolve.

I know you said updates will come, but I'm really curious as to how the "Support" section will work. Will it be like the "introduction" section in that there will be more rules in place there?

Great stuff, except for the renaming of A69 which is UNACCEPTABLE. I've half a mind to picket your garden. If only I wasn't so cataclysmically lazy .___.

That is one option we are discussing, but nothing concrete as of yet. Rest assured we'll update when we decide on something
