If it was just affecting them it'd be fine, but it's affecting their children and the children of other people.

Improved hygiene has had a huge impact on the number of people affected.

But, it has NOT eliminated the problem. Vaccines HAVE removed some of the problems.

Anyone you know had smallpox recently?

Thank satan that we still hold on to it as a potential biologic weapon. Think we'll need to come up with a better deployment system than blankets.

Well, at least she's got more of a head on her shoulders than, say, Christine Maggiore. She caught HIV in the mid-90s, decided that HIV did not cause AIDS, lived long enough to have a daughter and breastfeed her until she died of complications from AIDS, and denied that she or her daughter had it until she died... of AIDS.

Compared to shit like that, she clearly has more of a head on her shoulders than an alarming amount of denialists.
