Candles & Bong

The true way to listen to Tool.
I am John Cena's hip-hop album.

I was mostly asking what Alex/everybody else on the thread thought of it Tongue

Well, you got my thoughts instead. Thank of it as kismet.

And what are your thoughts on them? Like 'em, hate 'em?

I've posted this group a few times, but whatever. They aim for a very specific tone and they just fucking nail it.

Love 'em. Although the last two albums just don't quite live up to the previous ones, in my opinion.

Lateralus is actually easily my favorite, but I do hold Ænima and Undertow very very dear. 10,000 days is good but it doesn't have that atmosphere to it that the previous stuff does. But I love anything they do really.

For me it goes...

Ænima
Undertow
Opiate
Lateralus
10,000 Days

If you put Lateralus first that would be my list pretty much.

What about A Perfect Circle or Puscifer?

Both are amazing, but I think Puscifer is my favorite Maynard project. I saw them live back in February, and it was awesome. I do love A Perfect Circle, too, but he seems to have given up on that project.

Oh man, I'm jealous! APC is closer to my general musical taste and I like it a bit more, but Puscifer is hands down awesome.
