Lol I love the Aspergers episode of South Park so much.

When Stan was diagnosed with Aspergers he was told he was diagnosed with "being a cynical asshole" LMFAO.

Oh... actually that's said to him on the previous episode. He gets diagnosed with Aspergers on the Ass Burgers episode but diagnosed with "being a cynical asshole" (LOL!) on the previous episode.

Yeah, I've seen Death Note, and if people have related you to L, then that's almost a definite sign you may be on the spectrum. As long as nobody compares you to Light, then that's fine. Tongue

And yep, lots of decent people out there. An advice I give to myself (how arrogant) is to continue to avoid regularly toxic people in my life and stick only to the good people so I never forget that they do exist.

By the way, people tend to conflate asperger's and narcissism due to certain superficially common features, but this guy really explains well the difference. It's not that people with Asperger's tend to lack compassion or whatever, but rather they struggle with realizing they need to manifest empathy when needed. I've had my girlfriend upset with me a bit too many times exactly because I was clueless with regards to showing her love at those times when she really needed it. Not because I was intending to be an asshole to her, but because it's sometimes a struggle for me to figure out on my own what the hell I'm supposed to do in certain cases (should I hug her out of nowhere? Or should I leave her be until she feels better?). Even though we've had a good talk about this at length, it's still a bit of a struggle for me. Anyway, here's the video on asperger's vs narcissism:

Yes Light represents a psychopath and L is more like an Aspie.

I really need to try and do that more. I despise ignoring people and that makes it hard.

I watched this recently actually. I'm definitely much more like the Aspie he describes and it explains why I can come across both as very empathetic and as very insensitive Smile

How do assburgers people type?

My typing style changes whenever I start to feel uncomfortable with it. When I don't like my comfort zone anymore I change it... but I try to keep it indefinitely. Just usually something happens or fails to happen that spoils it.

Or I see someone else's typing style and I'm like  "I like the way they type better than the way I type" and I find myself unconsciously copying how they write.

Hammy, joke. South Park joke.

Lol I got that. I've seen all the South Park episodes so many times over that I didn't laugh due to a lack of surprise due to repeated exposure to South Park.

Basically, remember the old South Park episode where Cartman sees the buttfaced people and feels he has broken his funny bone because it's the funniest thing he will ever see and is unable to laugh at anything anymore?

I half-feel like that about South Park now. But only half feel... because South Park is so damn awesome that despite finding it less funny because less surprising and more desentitized.... it's still hilarious because, again, so damn awesome.

I don't naturally come with that 'chit-chat' thing most people are equipped with, simply can't generate conversation like that, unless you've genuinely peaked my interest. I generally don't have anything to say, and I certainly don't just talk to random people.

Me neither, ANKA. Well, I should say the desire for it doesn't come naturally to me, but ironically I'm VERY good at it. Most people who know me would probably be shocked to know that I actually hate it, and find it an incredibly draining chore.
