Jesus doesn't have to say much of anything either, all he has to do is swallow. Does he? If not, I couldn't be bothered.

Jesus has much to say.  Some listen and believe; some listen and don't believe; most just don't listen.  I can't make people listen or believe.  I just put his word out because God wants me to and I care about people and want the best for them.  The rest, I don't worry too much about.

Love is a pretty human sounding emotion, huh. And even in humans, it's not shown by hiding from people then punishing them for not noticing which cupboard you're in.

I see a world totally abandoned, personally. I don't see any external love. I see people scrabbling to survive, and everything that gets done is what they do. The rest is the roll of the dice.

What exactly did you bring up about the love of this God of yours? That he would allow his own servants to suffer atrocity, although he could've stopped it? That's not love. It's apathy - or better yet, a rationalization, on your part, to keep believing that God exists, and is somehow involved in overseeing everything.

To be more accurate, you experience an intense positive feeling which you attribute to a higher power.

I experienced a love so intimate and inescapable it was terrifying to the ego that wanted to remain alone and in darkness.
