So far, I'm in between books, namely Richard Adams' The Plague Dogs and Bruce Chatwin's The Viceroy of Ouidah, and Frank Norris' McTeague soon to follow.

My reading comprehension is terrible. Twenty-plus years on, I realize I missed out on a lot of cool books by Salinger, Fitzgerald and others. I kind of want to start reading those again. But also Mein Kampf, The Executioner's Song, and anything I missed by Sarah Vowell.

Re-reading Lord of the Rings right now.

Finished listening to The Big Sleep. If you're looking for fiction that suits a wet and rainy and dark autumn, Raymond Chandler as read by Ray Porter really can't be beat. Pulp noir is fucking fantastic.

Also finished listening to No Stone Unturned which made me cry at several points.
