If you think language is only present in humans, you may want to watch this video (6 parts). Noam Chomsky is wrong on this issue; plain and simple. But then, he is a linguist and philosopher, not a biologist, so he can be forgiven for thinking that language is unique to humans

If you aren't going to watch the video, and are just going to make some form of snide comment about it, then you are guilty of just ignoring the evidence when it is presented to you. Have a bit of intellectual honesty, please. If you watch the video, we can have a discussion on it. Otherwise, you don't have any right to try to criticize evidence you haven't even looked at yet.

A. We do not build houses, go to the moon or philosophize without speaking. Of course, we can and/or do these things without speaking on occasion, but all of these skills develop through communication. I'm pretty sure humans communicated through speech before writing.

B. You have still failed to show what any of these things has to do with the ability to speak. Are you trying to say that because other primates do not go to the moon, etc. that it must mean they cannot communicate verbally?

Unfortunately, you are embroiled in a debate with a person who has presented a video. I prefer not having to reword the same post over and over in the hope that you will answer my question, yet I do it anyway for the sake of debating you. If you do not watch the video, you are essentially ignoring part of Adrian's argument.
