I understand the point, but POTUS can't independently launch nukes. If a President gave a strike authorization based on unhinged reasoning, people aren't going to blindly follow that order. This is why I'm far more concerned about the promise of Clinton's foreign policy. Congress, even when Clinton wins the election, should start taking back some of its power.

But it depends on his advisors and staff. And what he presented so far in that department is as nutty and unhinged as he himself.
