I use an iPhone 6, obviously not the latest model but it works and suits my needs fine.

And it doesn't explode!

Sorry, just a little joke on my part. If they keep on giving you free telephones, then you might as well continue. With apple and Samsung, they are becoming stale and offer nothing new to the market.

People made fun of my Apple brand loyalty! But who's the silly little girl now?! My phone hasn't caught fire now has it?!

I actually just took a couple of flights, and it was a bit unnerving how many times they mentioned the Note 7. The flight attendants mentioned specifically that you couldn't put it in your checked luggage, and it had to be in your pocket, turned off. All I could think of was, "I guarantee some asshole has one of these turned on in their pocket and right now."

That piece costs several hundred Euros. I don't need that in a phone and my provider doesn't hand out iphones for customer loyalty. So I stick with what they hand out, since I'm using my phone for phoning and nothing else besides occasionally checking my mails.

I was a very loyal apple customer until the 2000s. Then I noticed that other products do a better job in some instances for significantly less money. The G4 was the last apple I purchased - for the equivalent of 3500 Euros. A windows PC doing the same would have cost a quarter of that sum. Even less by now in comparison.

Shop around, you can get pretty good deals on iPhones these days, especially with contracts.

For me, the price of the iPhone 4S has really got me pissed off. I wanted to buy one a couple of months ago and they were being sold for next to 300€ or more. That is ridiculous for something that will be as obsolete as the iPhone 3g, in the next year or so. I just feel sorry for the customers who buy apple every single time a new one comes out for around 800€-1000€, and all because the size of pre-existing applications that are years old have grown in size and do exactly the same thing. For a price of an iPhone 7, I could invest money in a top of the range Alienware laptop with all modcons. iPhone and to some extent Samsung are ripping off their sheep.
