I read TWD in the compendium format though, so I could've missed something.

I guess this is why this season is getting fewer ratings... It feels like the story doesn't advance.

It ties in a bit with the rest of the story.

I didn't know they were so close to the Ocean! Get a boat! Live on the boat, like in a few episodes of Fear the Walking Dead.
