Historical characters you admire

RE: Historical characters you admire
If you want to go deeper into Dante, I recommend some books I personally enjoy, such as "Understanding Dante" by Jhon Scott, and "Reading Dante" by Giuseppe Mazzota. Bear in mind, though, that these are academic books which will only be enjoyed if you really like Dante.

Everything Dante wrote in the Comedy was thought carefully by him. He did not let his personal anger into the Comedy. You could even say there are 3 Dantes: 1. The real Dante, who actually desired revenge towards his enemies 2. Dante the pilgrim who is guided by Vergil in the Comedy, and 3. Dante the narrator of the Comedy.

Oh, just pinch off the punnery already, Bri!

Fair enough. We don't want to get bogged down in this.

Glad we're getting some movement on this.

It takes guts to push this out so. We should be proud.

What does the "T" stand for?

Just curious.

Bloody hell, either you and abaris need your humor detectors repaired, or I need better material.

Nah, that was my own attempt at humor -- usually, making myself look dumb gets someone to point and laugh at me. It doesn't always work ... obviously.

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
