I have yet to see correct discrediting of him. For, all objections I have seen are missing the point. For instance, some thought he doesn't tell what cause God if everything has a cause, yet St. Thomas Aquinas didn't hold that everything has a cause. But, to miss the point is to miss pointing what is wrong, and to miss pointing what is wrong is to not really discredit.

Of course your personal bias would fail to see the logic in discrediting him.

My personal bias sees him discredited. That's two to one. Checkmate.

Care to demonstrate it here? I will do my best to comment, so to see if that is really a personal bias of mine or not. Is that fair?

Well, philosophy is not about voting, but about demonstration. Care to demonstrate it here? Again, I'll do my best to counter your demonstration, so to really see whether it is due to my personal bias or not. Do you agree?

For a concept to be considered reality, there must exist the proper evidence to support it.
There has never been evidence to support the existence of god, despite there having occurred throughout history many proofs for the existence of many concepts.
Clearly, you don't need proper evidence to consider God a reality as so many do. What we experience (or your word, conceptualize) as reality is not bound by rules of logic/physics/etc...
Your brain just has to trick you into believing God is real, and in the reality you experience, there is some God.
Again, you keep saying concept vs. reality, but humans experience their conceptualization of the world. Not the reality of the world.

Well look at that, yet another word you only understand when it suits you...add it to the growing list. No, aquinas five ways aren't -evidence-...they're -arguments-... :looks up:
I find them less than compelling.

I think I was just trying to steal you back to my discussion from the other guy.
