What does the word "necropost" mean?

You may refer to me as "Oh High One."
It means posting in a thread that hasn't had a new post in 30 days or more - as in, the thread is 'dead' and you're bringing it back to live with your post. Like a necromancer-post = necropost.

It means posting in a thread that's not been posted in for a long time (weeks, months, years). On AF it's considered a 'necropost' if there are no posts for 30 days beforehand.

I just find it funny that people start threads here asking questions that could be answered by Google in <0.5 seconds.

I like engaging with actual people at times. Same reason sometimes I go to the human being at the checkout instead of self-service. That and I might need cigs.
