Sounds like it'd make an interesting thread, Gem.
Congrats on 84 days -- that's quite the accomplishment.

If I'm not mistaken someone has 90 days today.
Congratulation Gem!
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

She's fighting a hard fight and just needs support now.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Gem is, by everything I've read of hers here, a very thoughtful person. Myself, I'm of the mind that sobriety is more important -- of course, I'm a pragmatist. A saying in the AA group I stuck with for a while went, "There are many ways up the mountain. As long as you keep stepping, you'll get to the top." I'm not being negative and I'm sorry if I gave that impression. I applaud anyone who finds their way to sober living, and I know that their path most likely ain't mine.
