Exit Polling Results
http://www.rawstory.com/2016/11/here-are...ing-about/

Quote:Here are 14 shocking things from exit polls that the mainstream media isn’t talking about

Quote:1. Hillary Clinton won with working class voters:

The conventional wisdom has been that poor, working class whites from rural areas got Donald Trump elected. While Trump certainly won rural voters by 62 percent, working-class Americans didn’t support him as much as they supported Clinton. That group certainly did help him more than they helped Mitt Romney in 2012, however. According to the exit polls, Trump only got 41 percent of those who earn under $30,000 a year and 42 percent of those earning between $30,000 and $50,000. Those who make over $50,000 a year in income supported him more.

...and 13 more.

Quote:5. There really are people who think Trump is unfit to serve but still voted for him.

Shockingly, one out of 5 people who said that Donald Trump does not have the temperament to serve effectively as president still voted for him. A little over one in 100 people who said Clinton doesn’t have the temperament still voted for her. According to the CNN exit polls a full 15 percent of those who had an unfavorable opinion of Trump still voted for him.

And this is why I'm starting to have a negative opinion of the general public of this country. People voted for someone they see as totally unfit to serve and doesn't have the temperament to serve as the best choice for leader of the country. All because something something Hillary's emails.

RE: Exit Polling Results
People are irrational, it's not just an American trait. That item 5 does imply that a fairly large number of voters believe that their vote doesn't count or that it is best used as a "protest" of its own. If you stay home because Hillary is a bad candidate, you might get President Trump. If you vote Trump even though you think he's a potential disaster, you might get President Trump. If you vote third party as a "wake up call" for the DNC, you might get President Trump.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

The DNC seems impervious to wakeup calls.

IANMTU, Donna Brazile is not universally regarded as part of the problem in the DNC.

Nor is Debbie Wasserman-Shultz.

Brad Marshall, John Podesta . . .

I could go on.
