I find most of Oasis' songs boring and overrated.

I'm not a fan of indie music in general though, with only a few exceptions

Coming out when it did, when I was going through a deep crisis with my woman at the time, it has a hell of a lot of emotional significance for me.

I find that to be the understatement of the year.

I've hardly met anyone who seriously didn't like Oasis but then again I live right next to Manchester.  I met one man who said he didn't but he was just trying to be alternative and different and eventually admitted he did get goosebumps when he heard wonderwall.

I met a girl who said she didn't like Oasis and I converted her with this song.  



I'd agree that they've been over played and I probably wouldn't choose to sit down and listen to a lot of their songs.  Same thing with smells like teen spirit.  I've just heard it too much even though it's a fucking amazing song the first 700 times you hear it.

Also this is a fucking classic song to blast in the car on a summer morning and sing very loudly






But it actually reminds me of a time when I couldn't drive and I was walking to the bus stop in the summer to get home from a girls house in Manchester city center after a good night.  Happy memories
