Why I don't believe in religion

I agree. The very idea that God gets upset by certain things is ridiculous. It makes him sound like a toddler who we're trying to stop having a tantrum.

The old religions carry the attitudes and bigotry of the people who wrote them. People are scared of those who are different. They still are, it's just we've moved on a bit in general and openly bashing people has become less acceptable.

Religion is totally absurd. God gave us a brain, then wants us to turn it off and just do what some book says. Really? If he wanted automatons he should have made them.

You mean like a toddler that can create any reality he wants, and know exactly how that reality is going to turn out, and knows exactly what is going to upset him/her, but then makes an upsetting reality anyway because he's mysterious like that?  Then after not getting what he wants, decides to blame his creation for upsetting him?

When we go to a football match. We know how games is played and players that will participate in it. We DONT know the outcome of that match. If we knew how game will end, nobody would watch it...

I'm glad I can say something like this here without being bashed.

To me, religion is a set of fake beliefs that stop you from living life to the fullest. 'that's a sin', you have to pray, and all that crap.

In every religion, why is Homosexuality a sin? Why are things like sex before marriage, masturbation, and the like, consider sins? If god (who I believe in), is all forgiving, why create hell? Wait! If god loves everybody, then why is there such thing as hell anyway?
 
Why am I not allowed to do 'whatever' because god doesn't like it? Why do I have pray? Also, the main factor, why is there more than one religion? If 'religion was real' then why are there only one? Why to people keep saying that the US is a christian country? Why do some Muslims (won't bash as my family are Muslims) kill in the name of religion? 

People try to force people to 'choose a religion', people try to make and/or add laws that oppose of something they believe is a sin.

I have no problem with religious people, however, I want they to stop forcing their views/beliefs on me. I will never believe in religion. Also, religion in bad.

Please don't bash, and I probably sounded really stupid in the post. 

It sound like you do very well with your philosophy of life.  
I also do not follow religions but like you I do believe in God.
Don't worry too much about some negative comments in here.
Some people in here just don't get it yet.  
They reckon that God is not good because he allow disasters and suffering.
They worship physical science but ignore that in physical science the positive and negative rule.
The fire keep us warm but can also kill us.
The gravity keep us down on earth but if we fall from a building we can die.
These funny folks like only the positive.
They reckon that we should not suffer so if we suffer is God fault.
Nothing to do with our stupidity.
Isn't this stupid?
