Lol hehe, I gave you the exchange rate from one quid to a dollar, Nym. I didn't give you the exchange rate for all 600, hehe.
Google Wrote:600 British Pound [or quid ] equals
743.34 US Dollar

I'd say that particular treatment costs £600, according to rob... but he didn't say how much he paid for it... possibly nothing as it's a follow up from the operation.

Ahhhh okay. I see now. That makes sense.
I have to have a lumbar injection again... this Friday. My co-pay is a whole $3.00. I like that kind of co-pay.

Yeah, £600 according to the nurse. It doesn't cost me anything, all part of our NHS! My specialist had to fight hard on my behalf in the first instance to get me onto it, because of how expensive it is.

I doubt this is directly related to the operation, but probably indirectly related to the cause for the operation.
Rob the god, comment?

Correct Brewer, it's treatment for the Crohn's disease, which I've been having for several years now. I had to stop it for a while leading up to the op, and this is the first one I've had since.
It appears to be extremely effective, as I've had very little pain and the op exam showed no sign of inflammation.
Next time I'm being put on a biosimilar (something like that) which is essentially the same but cheaper for them to buy in. That's how the cost came up. She said its 200 quid less per bottle, and I was like...

TNF alpha binders/blockers can work wonders with some autoimmune disorders. Glad your having such a good response.

Thank you
My awesome specialist put me on it to head off problems he saw coming, and it seems to have done just that.

A quid's a nicker. And with the way the exchange is going, it'll probably be worth an irradiated bottle cap in a couple of months.

Quid? Tell tale sign of a speech impediment. Or potential sign of partial childhood deafness, can't hear soft consonants.
