I'm really enjoying being able to move around properly. On the first day I had so many wires attached to me I couldn't have got off the bed even if I'd been up to it.

I'm afraid I can't share pictures as I've sold an exclusive to the Daily Mail. But all is well.

I'm having a good day! I managed to shower on my own, and things are all settling down nicely. I'll just be resting for a while now, but I'm used to spending most of my day in bed anyway.
