lol, of course it uses heavy equipment which requires skilled labor and resources. Those jobs rebuilding the infrastructure lead to more wealth in the hands of the people who work them and they will spend locally in businesses which will then create more jobs and start to reverse the income inequality. It takes entrepreneurs who take on risk and loans to create jobs for labor to benefit from.
The reason manufacturing jobs move outside of the country is due to lower taxes in those countries which reduce labor costs which offset the costs of the supply chain and logistics to bring them back for consumers here to buy. If the tax rate is lowered here, it would incentivize companies to produce goods in the US and employ Americans and save the cost to ship the goods back to the US for consumers. Plus with the brand of make American great again, it will be popular again to buy American made products. The progressive left which is marxist really always focuses on labor and not the reasons management create jobs. It's a win win for everyone! Just wait and see what prosperity looks like.

And you're the kind of dipsh*t, who will accept a comforting lie, over harsh reality, because at the end of the day - you don't give a sh*t what kind of world your children will have to live in. Hey, Jezzles is going to come whisk you all away, to Neverland, any minute now, isn't he? No need to worry about this sh*thole planet, then...
I'll bet you don't believe cigarettes cause cancer either, right? Because for over half a century tobacco companies used the same tactics fuel companies are using now, pretending that there was still a debate over it, when there wasn't, so that addicts could lie to themselves and keep buying their sh*t.
There was never human-caused "global cooling", that 99% of scientists agreed on, like they do on climate change. It was a fantasy, that people used to like to read about, so newspapers wrote about it for a while - just like they did with, say, Satanic cults in the 80's, that were never a thing. You're confusing scientific consensus, with popular opinions of uneducated morons, like yourself.
The cooling of the atmosphere, due to clouds of heavy particles emitted by industrial chimneys, that would block out light, thus lowering temperatures underneath - that was something scientists knew about back in the 70's, just like they knew about the possibility of global warming due to greenhouse gasses. But climate science was much less developed 50 years ago (A-DUUUUUUH!), most of the relevant data was still to be collected, so it wasn't clear which of the ecological problems caused by growing industrial pollution were going to be the most damaging half a century later. And over those 50 years we solved some of the problems, like improved filters on industrial chimneys, therefore making "global cooling" a thing of the past.
The same industrial emissions would also cause acid rains - but I'll bet you don't believe in those either, because you don't hear about them anymore, huh? And you probably think polio is a myth, because vaccines work so well...
Science and technology make progress and solve problems - that doesn't mean we won't have new problems to overcome. And stupid people like you only stand in the way, because you only care about your own convenience.
You're an imbecile and a dangerous one. I hope your children and your grand-children will adequately thank you one day. I hope they put you in a home, right on the coast somewhere. In a basement...
I'm surprised you didn't bring up bigfoot hahaha! Try not to go into a hysterical conniption fit when someone questions your dogma. I'm all for clean energy, but realize energy is what creates the life style we have in the modern world. Fossil fuels led to the industrial revolution and modern world and I know you and everyone in the world are enjoying the benefits even if you don't support them. Our infrastructure is built around fossil fuels that if dismantled would be devastating loss of economic freedom and life. Yes I actually do believe pollution does affect climate negatively, and we should work for ways to reduce it.
That being said, the climate alarmists have been consistently wrong on their models of doom and gloom. When you research the history of it you start to understand it's a means to an end. Why is it that some people feel like it's an intellectual strength to not read conservative news. I read Breitbart, I also read the Huffington Post. It's called having a diverse and well informed opinion.
Agreed. I think it's foolish to only take in liberal media or conservative media. Look at both sides and try to be objective with as much info as you can gather.
Your post was refreshing to see, cap.

You can't have a well informed opinion without reading conservative news in addition to other sources. When people on here say 'stop reading Brietbart' or 'Turn off Fox News' they are basically saying they don't like listening to opinions other then their own. Also, unlike most people, I'd much rather read opinions that I disagree with. How boring is it to only read your own opinion all the time? I already know what I believe, I don't have such a fragile ego or intellect that reading Brietbart or listening to Christian radio or whatever is going to do anything negative to me. People who say not to listen or read conservative news maybe don't have that much strength or resolve in their own opinions.

As a former leftist myself I understand how it takes time to deprogram yourself and wake up from the matrix. Not as easy as taking a red pill, but it can be done. All it takes is getting outside of your comfort zone and bubble and looking at the other side. When you do you suddenly feel free and realize you were under a mind controlled cult of collectivist thought to keep you there and from straying away. Lol, that's absurd. People don't say not to read Breitbart and watch Fox News because they don't like different opinions. They say to stay away from them because they often willfully manipulate statistics, tell half-truths and even outright lie to push a conservative narrative. Sure, every news source is going to get something wrong on both sides, but sources like Breitbart and Fox purposefully peddle bullshit to pander to conservatives. Hell, even the normally politically neutral Weather Channel had to come out and tell Breitbart to stop misusing what they say to spread lies. Anyone who is looking for a conservative viewpoint is much better off reading the Wall Street Journal or something like that. They don't have to make shit up.
It's funny. The liberal news sources will give liberal interpretations of stories and push a liberal narrative by selecting what they report, and I'm sure they're even guilty of reporting half-truths sometimes. The conservative sources like Breitbart, Drudge Report, Fox News and Infowars stoop to outright lying and manipulating statistics to push their narrative. It's almost as if they're trying to prove that you can't push the hard-right view without being dishonest.

That's silly. Huffington post does tons of misleading statistics. I know because I regularly read it and it's source material and see how the manipulate statistics regularly to try to fit their narrative. There is a difference between saying you should read Breitbart and saying you should believe Breitbart. People with well informed opinions who are looking into different news sources generally will look into whether or not what they are saying is true. That's part of having a well informed opinion. If Fox cites a statistic, you can look into it. To say not to listen to conservative news because of that, you might as well tell someone to not read anything other then AP briefings. Although I can't say for certain people's motives for saying not to read conservative news, I'm fairly certain they just don't like hearing it. I'd even read infowars, which is basically just full of shit all the time. However if you read lots of different news, you can read how they report on the same thing which helps you discover when they are full of shit better.

Unfortunately what you have done is fall for rather obvious lies. Remember I hail from over the pond to you so have the benefit of seeing what is happening to you from a distance.
What we see is a whole swathe of americans who react to things in a strange and interesting way.
They choose to see things that aren't there, they choose to believe in wars on Christmas on conspiracies that bring down sky scrapers and camps for this and drug induced that, all while ignoring or excusing the awful behaviour of the right wing republicans who are often working in ways that disadvantage these same people. Turkeys voting for Christmas. Tis strange indeed.
Both lib and conservative media are responsible for biases, manipulation, and half truths, as far as I'm aware.

To back up a smidge, Trump has (in this case) three plans that cancel each other out.
1. Cut taxes across the boards, for everyone - individuals and corporations.
2. Launch a massive infrastructure programme.
3. Double the economic growth rate.
*****
A. Taxes cuts of the level envisioned will...
B. Cut funds available for the infrastructure plan which will...
C. Result in massive borrowing, which will not stimulate enough growth to balance out the tax cuts and spending plan.
The last time the US made infrastructure investment on the scale Trump wants was in the 1950s-1960s (the interstate highway system). Top tax rates at the time were between 70 and 92 percent.
