I read the article and its from biased sorces, that said the article never said Christians were trying to hinder climate change science, it did insinuated that Christian have other concerns they consider more important. Scientist themselves are in debate as to what is causing global warming which keeps me from committing to an actual cause and until that cause is certain then some of today's desired action could prove to be overly costly, ineffective, or lead us down the wrong road and cause it to be to late for a right fix.
Christian know that some day God will destroy this world and create a new one, perfect in every way, we know the end is coming and this might be God's way to begin the end. We have our salvation and are not afraid of the future, though atheists want to disagree but I know many Christians and we believe our future as free worshipers is at stake, giving us a different view of what's important.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Yes, I always vote but like the majority climate change was my top concern.

Their willful ignorance could destroy more than just us, if we don't fins some way to stop it. It's hard enough to fight anthropomorphic climate change when you believe in it. It's impossible when we are fought every step of the way by the greedy people backed up by the common folks with their fingers in their ears.
It seems that some of the very things that were most useful for us in earlier times, traits we evolved that helped us master the world around us and survive in almost all habitats, will possibly cause our own destruction. Irony?
I submit that the answer to willful ignorance and to the harm of Conservatism is an anti-Conservative movement. One with attitude and with teeth. Until we Progressives and Secularists understand fully the danger that it poses to all of us and that unless we pull together and fight them as a united people and destroy the power and influence of Conservative ideology then we shall doom ourselves and our descendants to a hellish future. The key to that understanding is that Dominionist led Conservatism and Republican politics are at war with the rest of us. It is time we wake up and go to war with them: totally, completely, without reservation, and fight it to win. There is no other way. 2017 is the sea change for America and the rest of the world. This is the crossroads. The time has come to choose: fight this war and win it, or go to oblivion.
