It's the end of the world. Time to find or build a bunker and fill it with goodies. Y2K all over again! Yikes!!

Why should they leave?

No I wouldn't moan and cry, I'd accept that Hilary won, and just vote in 4 years to get rid of her and move on with my life!

I'm giving my opinion that if you hate the way this country has turned out, or hate who is in charge, then leave! No point in wasting American resources on these pricks. Of course This is America we're taking about, so you have every right to be a little bitch. Just be expected to be treated like one.

You're correct, this is America and people have a right to their opinions and their criticism of government. That said, you can take your "love it or leave it" bumper sticker patriotism and shove it up your ass, you little bitch.

After the 8 years of apocalyptic whinging and conspiracy theorizing we've just been through because black president, I'll take my turn now that we have an orange clown who isn't even in office before putting his billionaire buddies in positions to make money in Russia.

You know, if that's all there is to it, I breathe a sigh of relieve. If making money is all there is to this, it's at least a calculable risk. On the same lines as dealing with the mob. You know beforehand the only interest is lining their pockets.

...even while lining their own pockets, these dolts are quite capable of sending the rest of the world into another crippling recession.

And happy to do it, as well. Remember Trump said about how excited he was about the 2008 recession. He made a killing.

People need to be inspired by their candidate to stop an international train wreck? To show up and vote for Democratic down ballot candidates to shore up liberal policies in their state/national governments?

No. Most liberals are straight, educated white people who are supporters of a lot of liberal issues, but will have no real change in their life if things go bad for minorities and LGBT people. It's not that they don't care, it's that it really won't affect them, and there's not a lot of urgency. Which is why they have the luxury of waxing poetic about Hillary's flaws and the DNC while Donald Trump is appointing Steve Bannon.

Ah, yes, if I only had more concern for the rights of minorities and the LGBT community, I would have voted Hillary. This is why it's pointless explaining to Clinton voters why you didn't vote for her. They've made up their mind about why.

And saying she simply has "ties to Wall St." is disingenuous. After the Great Recession, when it was discovered that Goldman-Sachs helped tank the economy, Hillary became their champion. When most Americans were struggling to put their next meal on the table, she saw it as an opportunity to get in bed with the people that purposefully ruined the economy to make money.

BTW, I did vote down ballot for Democrats.

I said exactly none of that. I wasn't pointing at you specifically. I am making the claim that many many many people who voted in 2008 and 2012 just didn't. The fact that the candidate didn't excite them is more of an indictment of liberal voters than the DNC, IMO.

I understand why people didn't vote for Hillary. I am looking at the outcome and asking if it was worth it.

I love it when conservatives say this. If only they put their money where their mouth was, none of them would still be here after the whine-fest of the last eight years.

To be clear, my comments in this and other threads about the equally bad narrative were not aimed at any specific person either, more of a general rhetorical question.
If I have anyone in mind when I say it, it's my RL Bernie or bust friends, though I saw that idea on AF more than once, I could't tell you a single name it was attached to, just that I had seen it here.
