Hey Grisham, WHY NOT PREACH THE CONTROVERSEY ?
It occurs to me "Preach the controversy" might be an interesting idea to pursue . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Not a xtian so I can't use the poll but yeah the guy is a killjoy/grinch alright. He is waging a war against what xmas means to some people. Guess that means kicking over nativity scenes is justified now.

and Pastor Grisham has it wrong too, Jesus never fucking celebrated Christmas and He didn't say shit about it.
Hanukah, Purim, Passover, on the other hand . . . . .

I just realized i failed to make it an anonymous poll, and that thats probably why theres no votes. Other than reliable Drichman and .. yay for Catholic Lady!!!
Although--it is easier for Catholics to disown their own. So i guess Im not totally sure whaT the Christian Community would think about this dude. Need more than two votes!
Also someone get Tonus and Ignorant some coffee or somethin, they aren't Christian! ...Or are they?0.o
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

=) I'm pretty sure I'm Christian, even if I don't always act like a good one. Cheers!

I think the guy's a dick for ruining a simple cultural routine that does relatively little harm. If he wanted to impress me, he would've showed up in a Krampus outfit and terrorized the kids gangster-style.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
