I'm not saying that at all, I do get some of the issues. As I've stated numerous times, I was a Bernie supporter.
However, once she won the nomination, pushing the equally bad narrative might as well have been a pro Trump narrative, as they were not ever equally bad. Whatever her problems, they were nothing on what Trump will do to this nation.

So that message was false, and I'm completely pissed at the people who pushed it, since it appears that undecided voters who broke late for Trump were the final deciding factor. There were obviously many, many factors that resulted in this outcome, but if we need to own that Hillary was a shitty candidate, then other people need to own their mistakes too, and quit trying to wash their hands of blame. I have a few Bernie or bust friends who have since Nov 8th done nothing but try to shift blame. No, fuck that, I own my blame, they need to own theirs, while we register Muslims and deregulated fossil fuel and finish our slide into irretrievable climate change and CEOs run our government for profit openly, and our nation shrinks on the world stage, everyone needs to accept the part they played, because we have maybe, maybe one chance to fix it, if we are lucky. This may have been it, in which case it s doesn't really matter I guess, our grandchildren will curse us and history will condemned us.

- Moniz was crucial in helping negotiate the Iran Nuclear agreement, but that had fuck all to do with national energy policy and a huge distraction from the job he was hired to do.
- CAFE, if not changed, will be disastrous for the auto industry.
- Enacting federal regulations where state regulations already existed, added unneeded cost born by consumers.
- The Obama administration has fought producers the entire way trying to expand domestic production
- Shutting down Yucca Mountain
- There's more

I'm not enamored with Rick Perry being announced, but don't for a second act as if Democrat leadership is some type of panacea.

I don't think there is anyone here (except maybe Minimalist) who would claim that the only thing wrong with Hillary was her email servers.

For me, my complaint is that if you care about the democratic platform (climate, LGBT issues, female reproductive choice, non-trickle down economics, etc), then the policies are more important than the candidate. Especially given the outcome.

I'm aware that we weren't doing well in the first place. But we will now undo any good we had done, and havery zero chance of self correction, instead of whatever slim chance we might have had. Nor have I stayed otherwise.
