I find this video very disturbing if it's even partially true...
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.
Know God, Know fear.
Is the situation in Europe really this bad?

I find the threat from Trump more pressing.
You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.
The guy speaking is a far-right UK politician - the kind that's too far right for UKIP. He doesn't seem to be providing any evidence, only his opinions and anecdotes. There is no shortage of alarmists of his kind in this country and fear-mongering is obviously in-fashion right now. That's why we have Brexit.

He's a nutjob who has no grasp on reality.

There are muslim minorities of give or take 4 percent. Go figure how dangerous to the overall culture that is. The situation is bad because fear mongering like that led to the rebirth of nationalism, complete with instrumentalised religion and the extreme right cropping up everywhere like turds in a clogged toilet. They need fear, they need scapegoats, and you only have to replace islam or muslim in the speeches with jew to see where this is going. Soi, yes, the secular system of collaboration between countries is threatened. But the danger's coming from the right. Very similar to the 30ies of the last century. Complete with instrumentalising the economic crisis. Before 2008 rightwingers were on the fringe in most countries. RE: Is the situation in Europe really this bad?

Between whom exactly? We may sink into the shitter within the next ten years. Poland and Hungary already are up to their eyeballs in the stinky brown mass. Poland with the added fun of being turned into a near theocracy. Yes, that's what's at stake. And that's the real danger to the way of life for everyone rooting for secular and democratic values. Well, actually, Putin did.
And by the weird rules of MAD as postulated by Kissinger etall, Trump made the correct textbook reply. Putin knows where he's at now, and with his GDP = to Italy to work with, this is pretty much where it will stop. Putin will find some other venue to be a turd wipe in. There's no shortage of real stuff to rag on Trump about, we don't need to make up things. (I haven't worked out the wassup on China yet) The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
