The Dangers of End time Prophecy

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?se...ersion=NIV

Find a single mention of the fucking "temple" in it.

You're slipping around like a cat in a marble hallway trying to find a word here or a word there which will save your holy horseshit from the fate which it so richly deserves.  Tossed on the dustbin of history.

Meanwhile, do understand that every time you run your mouth I am going to fact check you.  That probably frightens you more than fucking hell.

If you're going to fact check me then go to the right chapter. I was discussing verses from Chapter 24, not 16. And then tell me what your interpretation is.

But my comment was from Matthew 16:28.  I thought you clowns were supposed to know this shit?

Ok.  Fair enough.  I'll look at Chapter 16.

Yeah Mini.  As per most of the background I gave for Chapter 24, he also seems to be referring to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.  He is speaking of the same event in Chapters 16 and 24.

When the stars in the sky start falling to earth and you have to hide in your basement to not get hit in the head by one of them, then you'll know that the Xtians are right!

`I know you were joking. But most humans worldwide don't understand that motifs like beating evil, life after death, the explanations of why good and bad happen, why anything happen are not magic.

"Shooting star" or 'falling star" was a quite common falsehood worldwide in all religions and different languages. Humans didn't understand it was not a star but a meteor burning up on impact with our atmosphere. Humans worldwide independently came up with the same motif of constellations but with adapted the shapes of their icons and deities reflecting each society's beliefs.

Heaven was probably mistaken with breath rising or any form of vapor of smoke rising in a quiet night time sky, much like a baby will rise off the ground and learn to take advantage of the resources around them as taught by their parents. Calm and plenty were associated with reward.

Hell, or punishment was called many things in antiquity, underworld, probably associated with falling, when one dies and not getting back up. It was simply an ignorant way of explaining bad and punishment.

I have sampled the world's major religions, in passing, through reading but mostly debate in writing and verbal,  over my 16 years on line, and when you compare enough of them over time, the ideas are always the same. Good vs evil, I am special, I am entitled, I am good, and my tribe comes first. Western liberals have learned to shelf the "my tribe comes first" in theism far better than the more closed societies and conservative sects of the world.

Animals were created with instinct, they do not reason in keeping themselves and their environment clean, they are not wasteful creatures, God gave them those instints so they could have a clean world. This is one way we can know there is God and not evolution. It is the great distinction between man and the animals.

Man's lust and free will are leading him down a path of destruction, why, because the majority of us reason the more we have the better off we will be and how stupid is that kind of reasoning, we know this planet has limited resources yet we will use them for gain even to our own destruction.
All the other things you've mentioned are the design of our Creator, for their survival. Tell me why would evolution have left out such a great instinct if we are nothing more than just another animal, why would it have given the ability to one species to destroy this planet?

Let me translate  "I don't need any clues from you", really means "I am unwilling to consider that I got it wrong" even in the face of the fact my book was written in an age of scientific ignorance. Don't feel bad GC, no religion, polytheistic or monotheistic worldwide, back then had any modern concept of scientific reality that we do now.

I wasn't trying to use the Bible as a science book. The Bible is a book that Christians use to grow in a better relationship with our Savior and Lord. I know God is real and He is who He says He is, He states in his book He is the only God and He created this planet and all that's good upon it. I used my God given mind to see the truth through nature and noticed you did not disagree with the content of my previous post.

GC, why would you think evolution would have a better result than being created by a perfect being? You seem to be going with 'if we evolved, we'd be better than if we were created'. Doesn't sound very sound to me.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

The same thing could be said about pot and sex.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

Jesus was speaking about the end of the Jewish sacrificial system with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
The passage I'm talking about has nothing to do with the temple as anyone can see by reading it. The chapter starts out talking about the destruction of the temple but then it goes on to describe the tribulation, Jesus second coming.

Matthew 24:15-34 Wrote:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understandSmile

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled
