Poll: What is your Specific Level of Atheism?

RE: Poll: What is your Specific Level of Atheism?
Yeah that's what I'm saying. All gods are improbable but not all equally. Some are 0% probable or IOW impossible, some are close to impossible or IOW close to 0% improbable. Definitely not all equally. Exactly my point.
Our reactions to some of the worst situations can be the most empowering actions we ever take.

Why just not sit back and see what happens?” To sit back and see what happens is also a choice that has its own consequences. And it’s very difficult to do. You just try staying in your bed all day, waiting for something to happen, you’ll very quickly feel the urge to get up and do something and resisting this impulse will actually take more effort than going with it. It actually becomes harder to do nothing, than to do something, very quickly. So, you can’t step out of this stream of choices and efforts. And, clearly, choice and effort is part of the causal chain of life. If I hadn’t decided to write a book on free will, it wouldn’t have written itself. So effort and discipline and willpower, these are causal states of the brain that beget their own behaviors. And behaviors lead to outcomes in the world. So the choices we make in life are as important as most people think. But the next choice you make will come out of a wilderness of prior causes, that you can’t see, and did not bring into being.

In general terms a 6 on the Dawkins scale.
Specifically in regards to Abrahamic monotheism I am satisfied that the Jews lied and thus move to a defacto7.
If there is anything then I find myself leaning towards some sort of Shamanism as most likely.
I'm not particularly impressed by the Ancient Aliens stuff, there's no sign of stuctures or resource exploitation across the Solar System. Also it usually takes less than 30 seconds for them to start proclaiming magic as an explanation.

Before coming here, I very much did not appreciate just how poor the arguments were for the 'God Theory'. It is truly astonishing for this grown up farm kid to realize just how bankrupt the theists are in having any basis at all for their beliefs.

Yeah, I spent years expecting a sophisticated argument to come from somewhere. I now find it amazing that religion is still around given how feeble the arguments actually are.

Pubic hairs
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
