It's a hate crime and disgusting on several levels.
I'm shocked that the press and police aren't being more candid about this in calling it a hate crime. They literally said "F@#k white people!" as they tormented this poor disabled guy. All I have to ask these people is this: if the races were reversed, is it a hate crime? They would undoubtedly say yes, so why the double standard!? Equality means equality, once you make exceptions it isn't equality anymore.

You don't get it.
No one is acting as if this isn't a hate crime nor is anyone saying there's controversy that it's considered one.
What is in doubt is whether these scum bags will be prosecuted for a hate crime. There's a difference.
Also, the overall reaction is different. If this had happened to a disabled black guy by a bunch of white guys chanting "fuck blacks, fuck Obama", there'd literally be riots on the streets, people all over would be calling for justice. This forum would be on it like a tramp on hot chips.
You can't help but notice the differing response.
What differing response at least on this forum anyway has anyone come forward to say this isn't as hate crime according to you the answer is no. has it been ignored clearly not. What level of outrage would be acceptable.
As for the general public or the law has anyone come forward defending the criminals in question or yet argued that this isn't a hate crime apparently no. And it sure as hell isn't being ignored it's all over my live feed .lots of hate crimes don't result in riots why should there be riots ? And no one thinks these men should not be punished for there crime?.As for the law it's bit premature to judge that isn't it?

All that I think so far is that the attackers sound only a few IQ points ahead of the mentally challenged guy by the sound of the video. Their English basically consists of some slogans they picked up and slurred words that are just about understandable.
It's not so surprising because it's in Chicago which is basically one of the 3rd world countries existing within the first world country of America.
And yeh it's obviously a hate crime.
