Honestly though, this is just as sexist and crude as something Trump would say. Calling a woman a slut for doing nude photos.
I hate to say it but even my side pulls this shit just like both sides pull the "you live in your mother's basement" bullshit.
There are lagit reasons to hate her, nude pictures are not one of them.
Women do not need permission to cover up or uncover. Nudity and sex between consensual adults is between the adults.
My left pulls this to point out the hypocrisy, and while true it does, I simply don't agree with the tactic.
It undermines our position. If Melania was under duress it becomes victim blaming. If she did it with consent it becomes slut shaming.
But I would be really remiss not to point out our species history when it comes to our patriarchal history as a species. While I agree with you on this issue, you are ignoring your own history and HOW the bible was written and the ignorance of the time it was written in. Now when I say that, I am not singling you out. Men in antiquity confused brawn with being better when we know now that brawn is simply one aspect of our species attribute but no more or less important than females.
I have posted thread here pointing out that sexism exists to greater or lesser degrees in every religion worldwide. China and India and Israel have their problems with far too many men forcing women to conform to gender roles.
In most of antiquity in earliest polytheism to the big three monotheism, girls women were considered property to be bartered between families. Some sects of Sikh and Hindu and even sects of LDS value the idea of male approval of whom the female marries. Ideas of child brides isn't unique to Islam and you can find that motif in many parts of our species history.
Most of the god/s of antiquity are male, both in polytheism and monotheism. Very few female deities are exalted as equal to males. The characters of monotheism that are female are used to market the male heros. Men worldwide in general don't have a evolutionary understanding that both sexes are equal.
Even the story of Cassandra paints her as a heroine but it glorifies female victim status. Apollo was rejected by her so he puts a curse on her giving her the gift of prophecy but with the curse of nobody believing her. And during her story gets raped by Ajax whom still ends up a hero in his own mythology. It is a vile story because it sounds nice on the surface to have empathy for the victim, but that is not really what it is enforcing. Both Apollo and Ajax still get away with being bullies to her.
Some like to say that both Adam and Eve were equal in their "crime", but that is not true. The head character God is a male character. Eve gave Adam the fruit from the tree of life, not Adam. She was the temptress in that story so she IS scapegoated and there is simply no polite way to paint it. The story was written for the society back then in the days of gender roles. Not even Mary is given any substantial equal time in the bible. A blurb about a MALE angel telling her she would give birth to a MALE hero, very little from her during the NT claims during the alleged life of the Jesus hero. Then the death story again, has her being used as a prop to glorify a MALE character.
Now you tell me, would that same story work for you if it were a female angel telling a male figure that he would be a father to a female heroine? Would you still buy the garden story if it were a female god and a female serpent tempting a male figure trying to get a female figure to be the one to eat from the tree of knowledge?
The myths of antiquity were written to re enforce the social norms of the societies they lived in. They do not reflect our modern concepts of gender equality. Unfortunately worldwide our male species is still far to stuck in a patriarchal mindset.
